Poetry: To You

This was written for some stuff that I was writing with a friend a few years back. Lots of inside ‘jokes’ for the references, but even without the context, it’s one of my favorites.

To You

To you, my queen, my heart, I give.
To grace and beauty, a servant, I shall live.
For in your eyes, the stars shine.
Guiding me home in the depths of night.
You work dark magic; I’m under your spell.
And I shall worship you in the night,
Until the sounding of the bell.
