I’m a page editor/section editor for a daily newspaper in Arizona. I absolutely love the written word and when I’m not working, I’m writing poetry, short stories, several in-progress novels, and even fan fiction just to free my mind a bit.

I’ve been published before, mostly poetry, outside of my journalism work. Poetry is probably the most common medium I write in because it’s quick, and easy for me, and I don’t have a lot of time because of the job. My longer projects tend to take me several years to complete, even with writing a little every day. (Should indicate how hectic my work schedule is.)

I have a music background, vocal and piano, but haven’t done either in about two years. However, most of my writing is done with music playing, and most of my work has a ‘melody’ to it, or so I’ve been told.

In short: I live, breathe and sleep the written word, but I’m way too busy to craft anything of length or meaning. I’m hoping to remedy that in the near future.

This site is mostly just a means to publish my writing for friends, family and etc., and share what I’ve got going on in my overactive imagination.
